Archiving Policy
management is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published scholarly content. As an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal, we recognize the importance of maintaining a reliable academic record that remains available to the global research community without restrictions.
Digital Preservation
To safeguard the continuity and integrity of its publications, the journal implements multiple digital archiving strategies, including:
-
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
The journal supports the LOCKSS initiative, allowing participating libraries to create permanent, secure archives of published content to ensure long-term preservation and restoration. -
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
Management also utilizes the CLOCKSS system to ensure that content remains accessible even in the event of catastrophic failure. Through CLOCKSS, materials may be made available as “open access” in the event of a trigger event. -
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
For journals using Open Journal Systems, Management participates in the PKP PN to provide additional preservation redundancy and ensure long-term access to all published materials.
Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit any version of their manuscript (submitted, accepted, or published) in:
-
Institutional repositories
-
Personal academic webpages
-
Research-sharing platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)
-
National or international data repositories
All versions may be made openly accessible without embargo, in alignment with the journal’s commitment to Open Science and unrestricted knowledge dissemination.
Open Access Commitment
All published articles are freely accessible online without subscription or paywall barriers. This policy ensures that research published in Management remains discoverable and usable by scholars, educators, practitioners, and the public worldwide, both now and in the future.
Preservation of the Scholarly Record
The journal maintains a stable publication platform with routine backups, integrity checks, and migration procedures to ensure that all issues—published quarterly in February, May, August, and November—remain accessible as technologies evolve. No published content will be removed from the archive except in cases of proven ethical or legal necessity, following COPE guidelines.
